bernette is what Bernina sells below its own name. The machines are built to a price and specified accordingly, but they are sold and serviced through the Bernina dealer network — which is most of what you are buying at the bottom of the range. The b05 Crafter is also one of only three machines on this site available under a single reference on all six markets we checked.
In short. The machine is ordinary and the network behind it is not. On a ten-year purchase, that is the right way round.
