Buy the Juki if you are in France, or if presser foot lift matters more to you than top speed — which for quilting it usually does. It is also the only one of the two we can link accurately everywhere.
Buy the Janome if you sew long seams at speed and have a dealer. The sealed bearings are what make 1,600 stitches a minute sustainable rather than a headline.
